Creating a Camp

Seventh grade students in Jerusalem, Israel were given a task similar to the one we thought about last meeting.  They were asked by FAST, The Foundation for Achieving Seamless Territory: Israel/Palestine, to design a refugee camp according to UN regulations.  They asked the students to think about what it would take to create a camp that would last for a hundred years.  The point of the exercise was to show the lack of sustainability of these camps in addressing the long-term needs of the displaced individuals.
